Sometimes a movie can be very good even without intensity and white-knuckle plot twists. It's just full of sweet tenderness, humor, wit and will sweep you along like a gentle peaceful flowing river. Such is my choice for this week's film: "Tammy and the Bachelor".

Tammy and the Bachelor with Debbie Reynolds & Leslie Nielsen |
It stars Debbie Reynolds and Leslie Nielsen in the title roles and was so popular when it was originally released that the movie studios quickly made a bunch of carbon copies to try and capitalize on this film's great success. But the remakes and copies never even came close to the warmth and charm of the original.

That's the perfect word to describe it: "CHARM". So let "Tammy and the Bachelor" carry you away in it's old time romance. Most of my requirements I know it will attain. Especially that it will be appreciated by both men & women and leave you feeling very good. As well as the deep desire to "snuggle" (so use caution whom you're viewing it with). But don't judge this "book by it's cover". On the surface it may seem simple, sappy sentimentality, but beneath it's light nature you will find deeper meanings that will leave you with those "good thoughts" and "warm fuzzies" I keep mentioning.
Sincerely, Laura-Lee (Rahn)

An interesting SIDE NOTE is that the part of Peter's mother is played by Fay Wray. The woman who played the screaming, 'love interest' in the original "King Kong" movie.
